The location of the hotel was good and it was close to some key attractions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The Christmas decorations really put me in the festive spirit and gave the hotel a cosy feel.
The heating didn't work and it was freezing cold at night. The Christmas dinner was not good, it was overcooked and dry, and the service was very slow.

We had an amazing overnight stop at a charming pub located close to the places we wanted to visit on our journey from London to Padstow. The location next to the harbor was perfect for a relaxing evening stroll. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the friendly service made us feel welcome. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the views from the pub were stunning. We also enjoyed the affordable prices and generous portions mentioned in the reviews.
The decor inside the pub may not be to everyone's taste with its 1980's style, but it didn't affect our overall positive experience.

Had a wonderful lunch with my mother at a quaint pub in the countryside. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when we asked to share a main course. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, especially considering the high quality of locally sourced ingredients. the interior of the pub had a cozy and rustic feel that added to the overall ambiance.
The directions to the pub were a bit confusing and we had some trouble navigating through the back roads. However, this was a minor inconvenience and did not detract from the enjoyable experience we had at the pub.
